About
Hello, my name is Daylon Burt. I am an amateur astrophotographer and visual astronomer.
After spending a few years being purely visual starting in 2015 (and even younger if you count childhood curiosity), I dove into astrophotography in 2018 and the train has been rolling since.
One thing I loved about visual was passing on knowledge to beginners at star parties. I always found it amazing to hear the glee in someone’s voice when they saw a planet other than Earth for the first time with their own eyes. I want to bring that glee to new astrophotographers, I’ve experienced that glee myself when I processed the first image I was proud of (ask me which!). I am looking forward to helping you learn this great hobby!
